Gravely Point
Gravely Point is my new find here in Virginia. Apparently, everyone knows about it but me. I've driven by this park a few times, and wanted to go in, but thought I needed a pass. Found out I didn't and it's the coolest place here. The park is a few steps away from the runway of Reagan National Airport. People go to this park just to watch the planes come in and out. I've spent a few hours there so far but plan on many more. Enjoy my pictures AND I didn't zoom in.
The white spot right above the airport is Gravely Point.
You can see how people just watch the planes. Everyone is looking up.
Planes ready for take off. The noise is incredible.
Planes coming in for landings. After much thought, I decided finally today that this is the best way to see the planes.
Easter Coming
Here is the poster I made for our Easter Breakfast sign-up. Not that I need to show any of you, but I wanted to put a picture of it on here for my own record.
Trivia Night
The only picture I have of Trivia Night before I spent the rest of the evening running around.

Lutheran Schools Week
Lutherans Schools Week started off with a snow day, which we all thought was great. But the second day came with us celebrating beach day.
We had lunch on beach towels in the gym...actually a little cold. The older kids weren't that fond of it, but we had to make good on it. Most of us still had winter coats on...no one turned on the heat.
In the afternoon we had a band concert by Captive Free. Gag me... Why we waste our money on them I don't know, but we do every year. I had to house one of the girls that evening....the one playing the keyboard.
Wednesday was fruit of the spirit hat day.
It was also celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday since we missed it on Monday.
Thursday was crazy sock day and school bowling. I bowled with the seventh grade boys (above in fruit of the spirit hats) and we had a blast doing all kinds of crazy things.
Matt in Concert
I got to see Matt for a bit on Monday when he was in Alexandria with Concordia Ann Arbor's orchestra. It was nice to have him stop by my new home and just to see a face from back home. It was a great concert. And we still think they brought snow with them, for the next day we have no school due to 5 inches of snow.
