Auburn Parade

The Lions Club Entry. There's Dad and the Vantols. Dad had to joke with the crowd and say, "Steve's steering, Deb's blowing the horn, and I'm doing all the peddling". Of course that wasn't true, but it was funny.

Pippen...The name may change soon.

Here she is. She finally stopped moving for a few seconds so I could get some nice pictures.
The training begins...
And yet she loves the man. Always cries when he goes outside or somewhere that she can't get to him.
Here you can see the tail we were talking about. Long

Pippen

I found Mom and Dad a new dog and they got her! She was at the Midland Humane Society and her name is Pippen. For now we are keeping the name. She is a spaniel mix, about 8-10 months old, has longer fur, and Cesar Milan...I mean Dad...is already training her with his little commands. She has a long tail and look at that tongue hanging out. More pictures later, but they are hard to take because she won't sit still.

Skydiving 100 times

Mom, Rebecca, the three girls, and I headed over to Harry Browne Airport to watch a professional skydiver, Todd Ames, jump out of a little plane. He's been doing it for 26 years, but this time he's trying to do it 100 times in 24 hours to raise money for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, which helps children with brittle bones. The little girls were very excited to watch.
Johnny Burke from the morning radio show 96 WHNN that mom listens to in the morning.
And then we had the cameraman who kept taking video of all of us. I think we spent more time keeping track of him, than watching the skydiver.

Girl Time

Nothing like getting your fingernails and toenails painted by Aunt The-The. So much fun.
Off to the water park in Midland.
Grandpa went with us to see Cars 2. It was great!
Then we had to wrap it up at McDonalds with a tasty treat.

Grandma Rockensuess' School House

This is where Grandma Rockensuess (my great-grandmother on my mother's side) went to school through the 5th grade. It's located in Frankenmuth, Michigan. It was a beautiful day to go see it.
