Fun in Washington

Dad and I spent the day seeing the Washington Monument and the National History Museum.
Inside the Washington Monument, as you go down the elevator, you can now see commemorative stones from different states.
After returning home I took dad to the Lost Dog for a late lunch and he loved it. After we went to Old Town Alexandria and saw the Masonic Temple there. We weren't able to take a tour inside to see what is was like since we were to late, but maybe another time.

Guapos

Watching Dad enjoy the Plane Park was fun. After, we went and celebrated the beginning of our adventures with what dad says is a drink that made him buzzed, since he never drinks. That was fun to watch too.

Paisley

The things you see on your travels home. Was talking to a friend later the next week and they mentioned they went to the Brad Paisley concert in Virginia the Tuesday after I arrived home. Well, they might have gone to the concert, but I saw the two semi trucks carrying the load to Virginia....so there.

Auburn Cornfest Parade

Even dad got in on the parade this year.

The summer life

Tent

My new tent for when dad and I go camping. Nice and big. Way better than his if I don't say so myself.

4th of July Weekend

Fourth of July weekend with the rest of the family was alot of fun, especially to see all the kids again. We took the dogs to the dog park in Midland and they loved it.

The Bay City Fireworks were awesome this year and fun to go watch as a family.

Once in a lifetime shot

After Dad and I heard a few small booms and the power went off...this is what we discovered at the entrance to the school parking lot. I guess a teenager from Western was coming home from swimming lessons and the wheel locked up on her. She just missed a mother and her stroller going down the sidewalk. What a sight though.

At the Millers

I spent a few days at the Miller's home. It was nice to see the boys after a long time.
