Garden

This is the view from my classroom.  I love having the neighbor's garden blooming in the spring.

Bob Ryan

Bob Ryan, Senior Meteorologist for ABC7 in Washington DC, was a speaker at the Woman's Club of Arlington.  I jumped at a chance to have my students walk over to the club, which isn't far from school, and hear him speak.  It was actually a nice afternoon and I learned a few things.  Bob was the first meteorologist to regularly appear on the "Today Show" from 1978-1980.

My kitchen table, or I should say, mom and dad's old kitchen table.  The light coming out by the table is from my kitchen.  You can kind of see a door on the right side.  That is where my walk-in closet is located.  I guess you can say it's on the other side of the wall where the quilt is hanging.  It's a nice deep closet and great for storage.

This is my kitchen.  It's really a perfect size for me.

Looking down the hallway.  The light coming out by that picture is where the bathroom is, and the room next to it is where my bedroom is.  Next to the bathroom is a linen closet and across from the bathroom is the walk-in closet.

New Bedroom

It was time to say goodbye to the old bedroom decoration and grow up a little bit. Thirty is only a little over a year off, so I thought it was time to make my bedroom grow up with me. I'm pretty proud of my little changes. How do you like it now?

My new quilt for my bed has arrived!

I've been wanting to redo my bedroom for a long time and decided to start it off with a new quilt for my bedding. I got a really nice one on sale from Macy's and it just arrived! You can't even order this particular one anymore on their site. Apparently, I got one of the last ones. I love it!
