Blizzard '10

The calm before the storm. Actually it wasn't calm this night. Not with police directing traffic in grocery store parking lots. I know it's hard to see but this parking lot is packed with people trying to get last minute groceries. Friday morning. We didn't have school because of the snow scheduled to come later that day. This is traffic that morning...people trying to get home early. You can't tell but the snow had just started.

The first dusting of snow. Around 5 o'clock in the evening.

By 9:30 in the evening.

No one was out.

By 10 o'clock Saturday morning.

You can see how the branches are just being dragged down. Even the top stem of the tree is showing.

Where's my car? It's actually the fifth mound over.
