Lutheran Schools Week

Lutherans Schools Week started off with a snow day, which we all thought was great. But the second day came with us celebrating beach day.
We had lunch on beach towels in the gym...actually a little cold. The older kids weren't that fond of it, but we had to make good on it. Most of us still had winter coats on...no one turned on the heat.
In the afternoon we had a band concert by Captive Free. Gag me... Why we waste our money on them I don't know, but we do every year. I had to house one of the girls that evening....the one playing the keyboard.
Wednesday was fruit of the spirit hat day.
It was also celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday since we missed it on Monday.
Thursday was crazy sock day and school bowling. I bowled with the seventh grade boys (above in fruit of the spirit hats) and we had a blast doing all kinds of crazy things.
Some eighth grade boys on the way home.
Friday was super teams...where the school is broken into 12 school teams consisting of all grade levels and they compete against each other in games around the school. One team was very excited at their win. Every team gets candy at the end to split up.
Our hot lunch cleaners that day.
The week was finished up with bingo night. I tried picking a winning group of cards but failed. Oh well...better luck next year.
