Around the Hospital

A regular view around Taipei.  Can't go anywhere without seeing some of these.

Another regular occurrence is the umbrellas to keep the sun off you.  You'll also see tons of people wearing masks, and not just at the hospital.

The red building in the distance is the office where the President of Taiwan works.

The old hospital below where Mom is could be viewed from the new hospital across the street.

Here's the front of it.  It's really pretty on the outside.  The place pretty much shuts down on the weekend, since it's more like a large doctor's office.  You walk in and the place is dark on the weekends.  However, there are wings that have patients there full time and that area will be up and running.

View of the outside across from Mom's room.

There was a pond in the middle of the hospital.

The new hospital across the street where Mom was at one point.  There is a underground tunnel between the two that you can use and to get back and forth.  There is a food court in the new building along with a Starbucks, so that's where we were half of the time while Mom rested.

It so helps to see the pictures. The food looked terrific, and the architecture very interesting. Thanks.
